Nitrous oxide, also called “laughing gas,” is a mild sedative we use to help ease anxiety and pain. Nitrous oxide produces a light, dream-like sensation in patients, offering a more pleasant and relaxing experience. The patient can feel the anti-anxiety effects only for the time they are breathing it in. Effects dissipate within minutes of discontinued use.

Intraoral Scanner

Intraoral scanners quickly and comforably capture high-quality digital impressions of the teeth and surrounding tissues. An intraoral scanner is a handheld, slender device with a small camera on the end. The dentist inserts the scanner in a patient’s mouth, gently shifting it from side-to-side so we capture images from various angles.

We use intraoral scanners to quickly and efficiently obtain images needed for diagnostic and treatment purposes. Patients and the dentist can view the images on computer or TV monitors in each of the treatment rooms.
