Our Commitment to Community
Dr. Christopher Stock is a Sarasota-Bradenton native and award-winning dentist who has practiced high-quality dentistry for several years. He and his team of dental experts provide exceptional care to people from various backgrounds and professions, including city officials, professional athletes, public service heroes, and educators.
The team at Palms Dental is dedicated to our community through involvement in programs such as Remote Area Medical (RAM) in Manatee County. RAM is a non-profit provider of mobile medical clinics that deliver free dental, vision, and medical care to uninsured and under-served individuals.

Dr. Christopher Stock, DDS
Dentist of the Year recipient, Dr. Christopher Stock has been practicing dentistry in the Sarasota and Bradenton area since 2000.
Originally from the Sarasota area, Dr. Stock spent many years in Germany where his father served in the United States military. With an ambition to enjoy German culture to its fullest, Dr. Stock became fluent in the German language and still delights in conversing with fellow speakers when the opportunity arises.
Dr. Stock is an alumnus of Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota and the University of Florida, and he graduated from Case Western Reserve University College of Dentistry in Cleveland, Ohio.
Throughout his vibrant career as a dentist, Dr. Stock has had the unique opportunity to meet people from diverse backgrounds, attain new technological skills, and provide his community with exceptional dental care. Dr. Stock is an expert in general and restorative dentistry, and he holds certifications in implant dentistry and Planscan same-day dental crowns.
He currently resides in Bradenton with his wife, Heather. He’s proud of his family’s many accomplishments in their personal and professional lives, and he is what many of our patients consider to be a true family man. His wife Heather is a local CPA, and they are both very happy to be empty nesters.
His daughter seen here recently became a Doctor of Physical Therapy. The middle one is attending dental school in Ohio, while the youngest is studying computer science in Glasgow, Scotland.
As an avid cyclist, Dr. Stock is a member of the local cycling club the Village Idiots, Sarasota Cycling Club, FHG, and SWAMP cycling.

Michelle
Dental Hygienist
Michelle is one of our dental hygienists at Palms Dental. She was trained at the St. Petersburg Dental Hygiene Institute and has been a valued member of our practice since 2015.
Since her dental hygiene career began in 1996, she has helped numerous patients maintain beautiful smiles and healthy mouths. One of her favorite aspects of dental hygiene is providing comprehensive periodontal care for enhanced gum health.
Michelle loves working with such a fantastic team and using advanced dental technology to treat our patients with the highest quality of care. Over the years, she has cultivated meaningful relationships with her patients, many of whom have been with Dr. Stock for decades.
An active beach-goer, Michelle enjoys running, jet skiing, and paragliding along our gorgeous Gulf Coast.
Anne
Patient Care Coordinator
With over 20 years of dental training and experience, Anne helps Dr. Stock maintain a dental office devoted to providing quality dental care in Manatee County. As a patient coordinator, Anne arranges office visits, discusses treatment, and provides insurance assistance when needed.
Anne has been working with Dr. Stock for over a decade, and in that time, she has made many personal connections and helped people achieve excellent dental health. Her favorite part of working in the dental field is patient interactions and problem-solving. Anne always enjoys meeting new clients that are seasonal or international travelers.
Thanks to Anne and our team, we respond very quickly to providing treatment for our seasonal patients and arranging visits to specialists as needed. She also enjoys showing our patients the advances of dental technology and how it can help meet their needs.
When she’s not running a tight ship at our dental office, Anne enjoys cooking and baking for her family and reaching new heights by skydiving along the Coast.
Joanne
Dental Insurance Coordinator
As a dental insurance coordinator, Joanne's job is to help patients understand their coverage and move forward with necessary treatment. She trained at Marple Newtown Vocational Technical School and began her career in dentistry in 1981. Joanne has been at Palms Dental since 2008, and she loves being able to work with patients and explain how their insurance plan can help them receive treatment.
When she's not talking about dentistry or insurance benefits, Joanne can be found combing the sandy beaches for shells and stones.
Carrie
Patient Care Coordinator
Carrie is a friendly and helpful patient care coordinator with over 10 years of experience in the dental field. She’s our patients’ first contact when they call our dental office, and she welcomes new patients to our professional, modern dental office by reviewing their dental needs and treatment.
Working with a passionate and knowledgeable team is just one of the many aspects of dentistry Carrie appreciates. An avid mountain biker and hiker, she is always seeking new trails to explore. Carrie also enjoys paddleboarding along our white-sand coast and in our expansive bays and winding rivers.
Murphy Stock
Support
Since the establishment of Palms Dental over 21 years ago, Murphy holds the record for most consecutive "Employee of the Month" awards in addition to receiving "Employee of the Year" last year. He is an invaluable member of the team supporting patients in the office in addition to eating portions of our staff's lunch. Pizza Thursday"s are his favorite. He was born in Murphy, N.C two years ago and is a rescue. He is a German Wirehaired Pointer.
